Job Description: 


 


The Manager, Customer Programs is responsible for coordinating all service and customer support activities for identified customer programs.  The position will be a key representative on the contract review team for service contracts and program agreements and have ownership of preparing project plans and coordinating program execution.


 


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Represent Customer Support team in RFP and contract review process to review proposed requirements with stakeholders to achieve buy-in or negotiate changes.

  • Identify program requirements and prepare project plans for identified programs.  Communicate project plan to all stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure program requirements are met.

  • Prepare reports as necessary to manage project schedule and meet program requirements.

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate billing for identified programs. 

  • Capture and track all data necessary for successful completion of identified programs.  Input data into relevant systems. 

  • Track program costs and analyze profitability of identified programs.

  • Plan and run internal and external meetings required for identified programs.

  • Function as a liaison between Customer Support team and other functions.

  • Keep management informed of program risks as they arise. Develop plans to mitigate identified risks.

  • Continuously partner with contracts, sales, product managers, finance, customer service, operations and other functions as necessary to achieve success.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.  

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

 


 


 


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:


 


**  Position can be located out of Washington DC or Wilmington, MA



  • Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Must have at least 10 years of program management experience.

  • Must have at least 8 years of US government contracting experience.

  • Must have at least 5 years customer service experience.

  • Must have experience managing multiple projects and priorities with minimial direction.

  • Must be able to adjust working hours to accommodate global projects and occesional travel.

  • Solid organizational, time management, analytical, and presentation skills.

  • Must have strong leadership and project management skills and excellent communication skills.

  • Must have ability to collaborate across multiple functions to form strong relationships.

  • Strong influencing skills.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Proven track record in the use of Oracle, preferably in a services environment.

  • Ability to interact successfully with customers, all levels of management and cross-functionally.

  • Must be able to adjust working hours to accommodate global projects and occasional travel.
