FUNCTIONS:
· Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s]. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process.
· Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
· Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
· Assign and direct the work done by the IS group’s Data Analysts.
· Maintain a deep understanding of the business process and flow.
· Manage the InSight database, Web Server, and “Browser based” front-end clients.
· Handle data requests (data mining, reporting) in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
· Assist the IS group’s Software Engineers in project development in requirements, analysis and design.
· Develop small applications in a standard development language
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree in Business or Computer Science.
- Over 5 years of data analysis experience.
- Over 2 years of Project Management experience.
- Knowledge of standard database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Access).
- Solid understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Strong knowledge of Business Objects.
- Basic knowledge of a standard development language.
- Proven record of project leadership required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to solve problems and handle multiple tasks in fast paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Developed interpersonal and leadership skills.
- The ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Concentrated mental and visual demands, working with computer screen.
