Manager Global Planning Logistics

Microscan Systems voted one of the "Best 100 Companies to work for 2009” by Seattle Magazine, is a leading global provider of precision data acquisition and control solutions.  Microscan is currently looking for a Manager Global Planning Logistics for its corporate office located in Renton, WA.

The Global Planning Logistics Manger will lead global planning and logistics function at Microscan using lean Supply Chain concepts linking demand and supply functions for all customer bound products. Establish and drive all global product distribution and finished goods inventory planning strategies. May direct all order entry activities. 

Directly manages employees in the following areas: 

• Shipping and Receiving


• Finished Goods Warehousing / Stockroom


• Order Entry


• Supply Chain inventory planning and forecasting

Qualified applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in related field (MBA preferred).  The individual must have at least 7 years experience directly managing logistics, distribution, and fulfillment systems and processes.  This individual must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time and must have a proven leadership track record.  This individual should have experience in contract negotiations and a high degree of cultural sensitivity / understanding.  Exceptional communication and presentation skills are a must.  APICS CPIM desirable.
