Manager of Health and Wellbeing is an exciting new opportunity to join Henkel to lead planning, administration, communication and financing of employee health and wellbeing benefits for approximately 9,000 employees of Henkel North America. In this newly created role reporting directly to our VP of Health, The Manager of Health and Wellbeing manages the financial side of the plans, communicates and reports on wellness efforts, and ensures that standards & performance are met related to our vendor contracts. The Manager also leads network of Wellbeing Champions from each U.S. location and leads education strategy.



 


 What we offer




  • Lead planning, development, communication, financing, and delivery of competitive, cost-effective health, Rx, dental and vision benefit plans for U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada




  • Manage health, Rx, dental and vision plan vendors with focus on excellence in executing health plan benefits and delivering leading-edge health improvement tools and services in support of Henkel’s health and wellbeing strategy




  • Collaborate with external consultants to develop health and wellbeing strategy recommendations, considering industry benchmarks, financials and health outcomes




  • Lead open enrollment planning, administration and communications; support acquisition due diligence and integration of acquired employees to Henkel plans




  • Partner with Finance to develop and track health plan financials; identify issues and develop action plans to aggressively manage emerging trends




  • Serve as escalation resource for employee health and wellbeing issues; conduct root cause analysis and drive vendors to continuously improve




  • Participate in vendor selection and implementation. Ensure vendors provide high quality and technically innovative processes, excellent customer service and adhere to contractual obligations.






Qualification:

Who we are looking for


Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Finance or related field is preferred.
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or similar benefits designation and/or coursework preferred.
At least ten (10) years’ experience in Health & Welfare plan management, strong understanding of the financial side of benefits (including reconciliations) and related laws, and understands the complexities of Wellness programs & analytics related to them for cost efficiencies. 
In depth experience benefits and retirement program is required.
Experience managing the H&W vendors to monitor the financial operations of the plans along with performance guarantees and other plan metrics. 
Strong leadership and management skills as demonstrated by employment in positions of progressive responsibility and expertise
Proven ability to be analytical and handle large volumes of data effectively.
Proactive, self-motivated and independent problem solving ability is highly preferred
