Summary: MicroStrategy, an international software firm is seeking a Manager, Human Resources for our energetic, fun Human Resources team . This role is responsible for for leading a team of HR Generalists as well as supporting our internal employees. Basic Function: The Manager, Human Resources – North America is responsible for leading a team of HR Generalists in support of the North American operations for MicroStrategy. Responsibilities include; executing HR objectives, employee relations, performance management, compensation planning, talent planning/workforce analysis, supporting learning and development and organizational effectiveness initiatives. Position may additionally serve as an HR Generalist for specific client groups. As a Human Resources Manager your role will be to: · Build and develop team of human resources generalists to support North American based operations. Provide environment of learning and accountability. · Partner with client groups to execute human capital strategy. Develop effective relationships with leaders within client groups. Influence matters relating to human resources. Provide coaching to managers and HR Generalists. · Accountable for execution of all human resources activities within client groups including HR corporate objectives and client group HR objectives. · Escalation for employee relations matters. Work collaboratively with HR Generalists, Vice President, Human Resources and Legal partners to develop resolution strategies. · Provide guidance and influence client group learning and development opportunities. · Provide guidance on reorganization decisions including appropriate structure and role design for optimal business performance, talent planning and management, and change management activities (including communication). · Partner with managers and Immigration Specialist on immigration related issues. · Manage compliance with state and federal regulations. Requirements for this role consist of the following: The ideal candidate must possess: · Bachelor’s Degree · 5-7 years of work experience in Human Resources with strong employee relations and HR Generalist background · 2-3 years in HR management and direct supervisory background · Ability to provide guidance on organizational structure and drive client groups · Hands on experience including the ability to directly support a client group and act as a “working manager” Additional skills include: · Excellent knowledge of HR practices and principles, and all applicable employment, pay, benefits, health, and safety laws and regulations in the US · Experience with administering and maintaining performance management and compensation programs · Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently · Strong interpersonal skills · Strong oral and written communication skills · High level of integrity · Strong analytical and problem solving skills MicroStrategy is an Equal Opportunity Employer
