Our client is seeking a Human Resources Manager, a strong #2, to support the site's HR Director and its more than 3,500 employees. The HR Manager will be delivering and administering impactful HR programs for both its union and salaried employees. The individual will possess exceptional generalist skill sets to support the direction, coordination and overall management of all HR functions in support of the company’s 3500+ employee facility located in the South.
Critical responsibilities include:
· Administering and integrating HRIS integrated systems administration and maintenance.
· Developing and maintaining training and development services for manufacturing and professional associates.
· Ensuring successful communication and execution of company policies and processes.
· Keeping abreast of changing regulations and determining subsequent impact to employees.
· Maintaining a climate of high morale through execution of various employee programs and events.
· Performing various labor relations activities and maintaining a positive working relationship with union membership and leadership
· Manage payroll administration.
Position requirements include:
· Five to ten years demonstrated and progressive HR generalist experience in substantial organizations with DOD as principal customer.
· Bachelors Degree a must; Masters a plus; PHR a plus
· Military base experience a must, with aerospace experience a plus
· Individual must thrive on achieving results and working towards goals in a complex and challenging environment
