Manager - IT Policy Management

We are currently seeking a Manager, IT Policy Management to join us in our Montvale office.


Responsibilities:
• Support the firmwide Information Technology (IT) policy management and exception management processes and the continuous improvement of these processes
• Support the policy management lifecycle through coordinating the drafting of policies and control standards and by supporting implementation procedures written by policy owners while gaining consensus among subject matter experts
• Establish a vision and maturity model for the IT Policy Management processes and the pursuit of maturity targets by IT and firmwide personnel
• Work collaboratively with United States and Global IT teams, risk management, and the firmwide policy working group to integrate policy management processes into IT and firmwide culture
• Help to ensure that policies are published correctly and align various compliance artifacts with specific policies within the Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) system
• Support the development and monitoring of the policy development, maintenance, and compliance scorecard and dashboards for reporting to the Chief Information Office and other IT leadership
• Work with departments across IT to develop operational measures and targets in support of the policy development and processes, addressing both operational and executive-level measurements, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
• Organize and help prepare for IT, information security governance, and firmwide security leadership committee policy review and approval sessions
• Interface extensively with stakeholders and IT Leadership to monitor the progress of the IT Policy Management processes and facilitate decision-making, interpreting policies and determining corrective actions
• Manage knowledge associated with the IT Policy Management processes including management of the learning associated with the process and the development of samples, templates, frameworks, approaches, guidelines, and standards


Qualifications:
• Seven years of progressive experience in the execution of policy management processes within a large corporate IT organization
• Three years of experience identifying and analyzing IT performance measures and metrics, evaluating and monitoring policy implementations, and developing and maintaining compliance scorecards and dashboards
• Experience in the design and implementation of policy management processes and systems and IT policy and governance improvement programs
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university
• Demonstrated knowledge of industry authoritative sources such as ITIL, COBIT, and ISO standards
• Experience conducting IT assessments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with various levels in an organization
• Experience or knowledge of Archer's Enterprise GRC Solutions and Archer certification is preferred
