Position Description

 

Cvent is hoping you’ll be the next Marketing Campaigns Lead to join our Marketing Operations team! The Marketing Campaign Lead is responsible for developing marketing campaign strategies and plans for critical corporate initiatives to rapidly-growing consumer sales divisions. In addition to being responsible for marketing live and virtual sales and though-leadership events to drive and manage demand, the ideal hire must demonstrate knowledge and expertise as both a marketing strategist and tactician to raise awareness of Cvent’s consumer event and mobile solutions.

 

In this position you will work in partnership with sales and marketing leadership to leverage marketing automation software to perfect our lead nurturing and scoring programs. The Marketing Campaign Lead will also be responsible for being a proactive driver in tracking, monitoring, analyzing and optimizing campaign performance through aggressive testing methodologies.

 

Position Duties

  • Recommend, grow, and optimize targeted and dynamic marketing campaigns to solicit prospect interest
  • Design marketing and sales initiatives, processes, and campaigns, focused primarily on Business-to-Consumer projects
  • Work with product management, sales and business development teams to design and implement awareness and lead generation programs, including direct mail, e-marketing, events, advertising, and PR
  • Collaborate with sales management to identify and implement processes to increase sales opportunities and sales cycle efficiencies —including lead scoring and refined lead management strategies
  • Build an understanding of the market size, competitive landscape, target audience and software solution buying stages and develop value propositions accordingly
  • Deliver high-quality sales leads by optimizing existing campaigns and identifying new opportunities for scalable, top-of-funnel campaigns
  • Serve as marketing lead in managing, measuring, tracking, and reporting on metrics and to evaluate campaign effectiveness
  • Analyze and provide performance results and recommendations to internal team, including executive leadership, in order to optimize continual project or program execution

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Creative thinker, team player, detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and effective communicator
  • Experience with multiple, coordinated software systems including email marketing, registration, survey, CRM, marketing automation or analytics (Salesforce and Eloqua a plus)
  • Proficient in analysis of multiple and large data sets and ability to derive actionable conclusions
  • Knowledge of web, mobile, email design and layout a plus
  • Ability to speak or write in multiple languages is a plus
  • Education: BA/BS in marketing or closely related field
  • 3-5 years software or online marketing experience
