Product Marketing Lead/Manager (CrowdTorch)

About the Job

For 14 years, Cvent has been transforming the meetings and events industry by providing businesses with the technology they need to plan better events more efficiently. Now, along with our core business-to-business products, Cvent’s surging consumer event products present an even greater opportunity to take the estimated $565 corporate meetings and events industry by storm. We’re looking for a marketing campaigns lead – a trailblazer – ready to help pilot our rapidly growing marketing efforts.

The product marketing lead or manager will be responsible for developing strategic marketing plans and corporate initiatives for our consumer event solutions, which include ticketing technology and mobile event apps. In this role you’ll deploy primarily online and email marketing campaigns that raise awareness for Cvent’s consumer solutions among prospects, compel them to get engaged with our sales events, and eventually funnel them down to our consumer sales division – qualified and ready to buy.

The ideal hire will be a high-impact, tactical leader who fits right in with our bustling marketing operations team. He or she should be ready to work in tandem with our sales and marketing leaders to perfect our lead nurturing and scoring programs, while proactively boosting campaign performance through testing, tracking, monitoring, and analyzing current effectiveness.

If you can be both creative and calculated, navigate cutting-edge marketing automation software with mastery, and take the reins of large-scale campaigns that get results, apply today!

Position Duties

  • Recommend, grow, and optimize targeted and dynamic marketing campaigns to solicit prospect interest
  • Design marketing and sales initiatives, processes, and campaigns, focused primarily on Business-to-Consumer projects
  • Work with product management, sales, and business development teams to design and implement awareness and lead generation programs, including direct mail, e-marketing, events, advertising, and PR
  • Collaborate with sales management to identify and implement processes to increase sales opportunities and sales cycle efficiencies — including lead scoring and refined lead management strategies
  • Build an understanding of the market size, competitive landscape, target audience and software solution buying stages — and develop value propositions accordingly
  • Deliver high-quality sales leads by optimizing existing campaigns and identifying new opportunities for scalable, top-of-funnel campaigns
  • Serve as marketing lead in managing, measuring, tracking, and reporting on metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness
  • Analyze and provide performance results and recommendations to internal team, including executive leadership, in order to optimize continual project or program execution

Candidate Requirements:

  • Creative thinker, team player, detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and effective communicator
  • Experience with multiple, coordinated software systems including email marketing, registration, survey, CRM, marketing automation or analytics (Salesforce and Eloqua a plus)
  • Proficient in analysis of multiple and large data sets and ability to derive actionable conclusions
  • Knowledge of web, mobile, email design and layout is a plus
  • Ability to speak or write in multiple languages is a plus
  • Education: BA/BS in marketing or closely related field
  • 3-5 years software or online marketing experience
