Information Security Manager (confidential search)
Fortune 1000 company - HQ in the Midwest.
We are conducting a search to add a talented Information Security Manager to our Information Security team. The ideal candidate will be an Information Security “Change Agent" and will bring both technology and process expertise to the organization. The manager will infuse advanced technology and automation to ensure critical security operations. The Information Security Manager will ensure corporate information security by managing, planning, and implementing people, processes, and technical security mechanisms. Additional responsibilities include management and enforcement of information security policies, procedures, and standards while maintaining compliance with applicable industry, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
Requirements • 8 or more years in IT experience with 5 years of security/infrastructure protection and information security audit experience.
• Solid multi-platform knowledge. Experience in UNIX, Windows, Linux, networking, and IP intranet/Internet security environments including: firewalls, intrusion detection, incident response, policy writing, vulnerability testing, operating system hardening, regulatory compliance, and data classification.
• Solid knowledge of security, network policies and procedures, and experience in a compliance management leadership .
• Experience linking legal and regulatory statutes with corporate policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with risk analysis
• Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and relationship management
• Demonstrated competency in developing effective solutions for diverse and complex business problems
