About the Job
Essential Functions:
* Works with General Manager to help control all profit and loss centers, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs.
* Ensures safe working conditions to reduce injury and accidents through continual repair and maintenance of restaurant.
* Maintains an accurate manpower plan for restaurant staffing needs. Prepare manager schedules and ensure the restaurant is staffed for all shifts.
* Staffing, training and development of all management and hourly employees through orientation, feedback, performance expectations and conducting performance reviews. Ensures all candidates are interviewed and hired using consistent standards and hiring practices.
* Responds to guest service issues in person taking all appropriate actions necessary to satisfy the guest.
* Oversees all front of the house and back of the house restaurant operations with sales exceeding $8 million dollars.
Requirements:
* Minimum of two years experience restaurant management in a high volume operation.
* Knowledge of Windows Excel, Word, Outlook, Lotus and Aloha POS and back office systems.
* Strong Interpersonal skills
* Must understand high volume operations.
