About the Job
Essential Functions:
* Works with General Manager to achieve unit's annual operating budget and control all profit and loss centers, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs.
* Ensure safe working conditions to reduce injury and accidents through continual repair and maintenance of restaurant.
* Maintain an accurate manpower plan for restaurant staffing needs. Prepare manager schedules and ensure the restaurant is staffed for all shifts.
* Staffing, training and development of all management and hourly employees through orientation, feedback, performance expectations and conducting performance reviews.
* Ensure that all candidates are interviewed and hired using consistent standards and hiring practices.
* Respond to guest service issues in person taking all appropriate actions necessary to satisfy the guest.
* Oversee all front or back of the house restaurant operations as required.
Requirements:
* Minimum of two years experience as a Restaurant Manager in a casual dining, full service operation.
* Knowledge of Windows Excel, Word, Outlook, Lotus and Aloha POS and back office systems.
* Strong Interpersonal skills
* Must understand high volume operations.
