FUNCTIONS:
The Manager of Security is responsible for the overall physical security of the employees, facilities and facility contents.
· Manages groups of security guards who ensure the protection of an organization’s facilities.
· Develops and enforces security procedures and regulations and the loss prevention program.
· Acts as a liaison to all divisions on security measures, procedures and needs.
· Maintenance of all security contracts, CCTV and Access Control systems throughout the company
· Liaison and contact with outside security vendors, emergency services and law enforcement agencies.
· Security investigations and case file management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5+ years related experience
- Access Control, CCTV and Security Systems management
- Emergency Response, First Aid and CPR/AED Certifications
- Travel and Mobilization Availability
- Strong management skills
- Ability function in a team environment
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Security Policy Development, Enforcement and Practices.
- Knowledge of Security Techniques and Best Practices
- The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen/camera
- Ability to lift 20 pounds and stand for a long period of time
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point
- Lenel and Northern access control systems
