This position is responsible for the manufacturing engineering function at a mid-sized St Louis based manufacturing company.  The manager is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of proprietary tools, automatic assembly machines, and test equipment used in the manufacture of flow control valves.  Customers include large multinational corporations with rigid quality and delivery requirements.    

The successful candidate has a minimum of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Product Engineering


• Very proficient using Solid Works


• Has experience in the production of proto-type parts
  
• Has workied with cross functional teams
  
• Has basic knowledge of machine designs used for automatic assembly machines and test equipment  
  
• Completed training in ladder logic programming for PLC’s
  
• Working knowledge of making proto-type machined parts from aluminum, brass and steel using a lathe or CNC equipment  
  
• 5+ years of experience in a similar or related manufacturing position
