Manager, Marketing Communications
UniGroup, Inc., parent company of United Van Lines, LLC and Mayflower Transit, LLC, has an immediate opening for a communications manager at its Home Office in southwest St. Louis County.
Candidate must be a well-organized, self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Responsibilities include researching, developing, planning and writing a wide variety of internal and external printed and electronic materials as well as initiating public relations campaigns and coordinating implementation.
Required skills and experience:
· Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or related field
· Six or more years of communications-related experience
· Two years of management experience
· Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills
· Knowledge of the Associated Press style
· Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and handle deadline pressure on multiple projects
· High proficiency in the use of word processing and desktop publishing software
