Manager, Marketing Research & Analytics
ENTER JOB DESCRIPTION
- Implement, improve and update FDD's marketplace performance.
- Develop fact-based plans for marketing spend, business case and pricing actions.
- Lead development of standardized metrics and operating principles.
- Assist in development of general principles that guide investment of marketing funds.
- Lead and direct vendors to provide fact-based insights to the marketing and selling teams for strategic and tactical business issues.
- Manage areas such as spending management, market structure, optimizing retail execution, pricing elasticity and price and promotions optimization projects.
ENTER JOB REQUIREMENTS
- MBA highly desirable, Quantitative Methods (preferred)
- 8 -10 years experience in Analytics -- modeling and analyzing consumer brands using state of the art techniques and systems, in CPG industry preferred
- Develops strong interactive relationships with marketing and sales personnel
- Thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
- Requires deep understanding of marketing research techniques and applications.
- Responsible for developing and team relationships with suppliers and partner vendors
- Comfortable interacting with senior leadership
- Demonstrated analytical acumen utilizing a variety of information & tools (IRI< Spectra, panel data, Mintel, etc,)
- Strong presentation, platform and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
