Enterprise Solutions (ES) supports Crowe personnel on a firmwide level by providing financial services (financial reporting, billing systems and reporting, facilities management) and information services (audit and tax technology, process and solutions engineering, technical services), as well as office operations services on a local, day-to-day basis.

 

SUMMARY

  • Provides leadership to the members of the network data communication team in support of all aspects of LAN, WAN, and Internet throughout the firm.
  • Develops and/or reviews the design and implementation of projects to expand and/or enhance LAN, WAN and/or Internet resources. 
  • Supports other data communications projects as required to address the overall needs of the firm.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical Networking Role – Provide data network support for internal clients across 24 offices and technical support for incident and problem resolution. Develop and recommend data networking and connectivity solutions to IS management for consideration and implementation into Crowe’s infrastructure.
  • Leadership Role – Develop and supervise data network team members’. Define and assign daily activities and monitor progress of group and IS wide projects to which they are assigned. Mentor and develop team member skills and develop cross training as needed. Resolve project or priority conflicts.
  • Maintenance Window – Assist the change management process by coordinating changes that occur during standard maintenance windows and be a central point of contact for issues that occur during a maintenance window.
  • Research and Development – Find and evaluate new technologies that may improve the connectivity and/or uptime for clients and network infrastructure.  Establish business case and recommendations for new network and access resources.
  • Work collaboratively with other IS teams to define and implement improved application platforms and infrastructure aligned with the Firm's business objectives.
  • Asset Management - Ensure that all data hardware, software, and service agreements are effectively managed across the life cycle from acquisition to retirement.
  • Website Security and Domain Names – Be a central point of contact for all domestic and international domain name and secure certificate needs at Crowe.
  • Cross Functional Teams – Lend networking and general IS knowledge across other areas of IS.
  • Non-ESG Networking Support (Client Based) – Provide Networking and General IS knowledge to external client base on an occasional basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with 3-5 years work experience supporting a multi-site data communications network; or a Bachelor’s degree in a business related discipline with 5-8 years of data communication networking experience.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred.
  • Management skills including formal coaching, career development, and performance management.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with management and staff of all levels.
