About the Job
The candidate for Online Marketing Manager must be ROI focused and highly skilled in direct marketing via online channels including search, affiliate and portal advertising. This position manages AVON North America Online Marketing programs that drive qualified traffic for AVON Representative recruitment and shopping initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily communication with paid search agency on U.S./Canada sales and recruitment programs
- Coordinate periodic performance reviews with agencies & search engines to review programs and learn about new opportunities
- Own the numbers for all search programs
- Monitor placements and optimize
- Drive partners to be accountable for Avon's success
- Monitor placements, optimize creative and landing pages
- Develop compelling effective offer propositions for targets
- Negotiate contracts and renewals
- Review and submit invoices
- Drive qualified traffic to Avon sites
- Seek out ways to improve the customer experience of online store
- Seek out ways to improve the Recruitment sign-up experience
- BA/BS Required, MBA is preferred.
- 4 years of related work experience, 2+ years of which should be experience in an Internet related business
- Experience in CPG, Retail, or Beauty is preferred
- Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to devise strategies based on data
- Strong direct-response experience with a track record of successful online strategies that drive qualified traffic and customer acquisition
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with solid understanding of the Internet and its key performance indicators
- Powerpoint and presentation skills
- Experience with Omniture, Coremetrics, or comparable tools a plus
