Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, APICS certification desired. Minimum 5-year’s experience in managing planning of short run, high SKU count, custom products, across multiple production lines. Must have managed a department with multiple direct reports.  Must have technical knowledge of state-of-the-art planning tools as well as proficiency with ERP systems.  Planning experience with mass-market consumer customers desired.

Our client, a leading manufacturer of consumer products, is seeking an experienced Manager to head the division planning function. Reporting to the VP of Planning, you and your team will be responsible for planning manufacturing domestically and internationally, requisitioning raw materials and finished goods based on customer demands and sales forecasts. This position is responsible for ensuring shipping performance goals, inventory management goals, and production-planning goals are met. This is a fast-paced short run consumer products environment with thousands of SKU’s, so a strong technical knowledge of current planning tools and ERP is essential.
