We design, develop and manufacture electronic packages, for Photovoltaic, LED, RF power, MEMS, RF ID tag and other similar semi-conductor packaging applications.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Quality Management System – Maintenance & Upgrade
  • Serve as Quality Management Representative.
  • Manage the Quality team (Quality Engineers, Technicians, & Inspectors).
  • Evaluate and determine appropriate staffing levels for the Quality department. 
  • Provide performance appraisals for the Quality team.
  • Work with Human Resources to resolve performance & corrective discipline issues.
  • Provide technical guidance to Quality Engineers, Technicians, & Inspectors.
  • Provide quality engineering support to operations and manufacturing areas.
  • Manage the evaluation, determination and delivery of Quality Management System  training to company personnel.  
  • Develop, implement, and track key quality metrics.
  • Where key quality metrics are not being met, investigate, identify root cause, and establish corrective actions that will ensure future success.
  • Refine and enhance processes by applying Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma continuous improvement principles and techniques.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers (internal & external).
  • Manage corrective / preventive action and continuous improvement programs.
  • Manage MRB.
  • Internal / External Auditing
  • Manage supplier development.
  • Management Review
  • Implementation of statistical process control in key manufacturing areas.
  • Follow company policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Manual.
  • Follow company safety rules and wear designated PPE as required.
  • Maintain regular and satisfactory attendance.
  • Perform duties outside of normal work hours as required.
  • Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years of Quality Management experience, preferably in support of the Automotive Industry.  Prefer experience with Stamping, Plating, Molding & Skiving mfg. operations. 
  • Direct hands on involvement in maintaining and/or upgrading ISO 9001:2008, TS 16949, ISO 13485, & ISO 14001 quality management standards.
  • BS in Engineering.
  • Certified CQE, CQM, CQA preferred. 
  • Must have a demonstrated knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC / Statistical Analysis, RCA / CA, DOE, GD & T
  • Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt preferred.
  • Possess knowledge of various measuring equipment to include OGP & X-Ray machines.
  • Effective Organization, Prioritization, Time Management, & Project Management skills
  • Must be a self starter with a strong drive for continuous improvement.
  • Must possess strong motivation & teambuilding skills.
  • Ability to read advanced blueprints and schematics.         
  • Excellent oral / written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, AutoCAD or Solidworks.
