JOB TITLE: Manager, Quality Engineering

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·      Quality organization and will oversee the quality engineering function in the laboratory.

·      Will be responsible for overseeing and completing complex investigations, product validations, new product launches, and process improvements.

·      Will have direct laboratory Quality oversight and will manage 5 quality professionals.

REQUIREMENTS:

·      BS in Chemistry or related

·      Minimum of 5 years Quality Assurance experience or Quality Engineering experience in an FDA regulated industry

·      A strong scientific background with experience in method development and process validation

·      Solid oral dosage experience

·      Knowledge of FDA, DEA, GMP rules, regulations and guidelines

·      Experience in systems development and analysis

·      Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting problems and in root cause analysis

·      Skill in responding to inquiries from management, employees and regulatory agencies

·      Prior managerial experience with project management, team leadership and training practices and methods

·      Excellent oral and written communication skills

·      Good interpersonal skills
