Manager Registration (Patient Access) - VBMC
Manages and Coordinates activities of Registration Services teams (Admitting, ER Registration, Outpatient, Scheduling, Financial Counselors, & Cashier) according to established hospital and regulatory policies and procedures. Emphasis will be placed on patient services, patient satisfaction, staff development and fiscal goals.
Manages and coordinates day-to-day operations of the Registration & Credit Office Teams.
Acts as a liaison with the clinical & ancillary departments, System Business Office, Financial Clearance Center and decentralized registration areas to facilitate optimal patient flow and maximizing system processes and accuracy of data entry.
Implements processes to guarantee the integrity of financial information that is directly related to the registration, admission, discharge and transfer processes.
Implements and monitors Corporate Compliance, Quality Improvement policies and procedures and appropriate safety programs.
Assumes responsibility for department and inter-department communications to ensure information is shared for effective operations and to promote positive employee relations.
Assumes responsibility for human resource management within the department to achieve quality services and positive employee relations.
Assumes responsibility for effective fiscal management of department operations to ensure proper utilization of financial resources.
Assumes responsibility for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge in the profession/position.

College Degree required. Requires a minimum of five (5) years of knowledge/skills in Registration and/or healthcare industry with three (3) years of experience in a supervisory position.*
