The client company is looking for a person with retail management experience to join their team of retail store General Managers.  The primary focus of this position is maximizing sales and revenue by supervising overall store operations and providing quality customer service and community relations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a first class organization and to motivate a retail sales team to produce revenue that supports the company mission.

Responsibilities:

• Provide great customer service along with presenting value priced products in a friendly, clean and easy to shop environment.
• Exceeds sales goals through excellent customer service, production and merchandise presentation.
• Manages profit objective by the ongoing evaluation and mangement of sales and expense control.
• Identifies, trains and develops employees to maximize potential to achieve the financial and service objectives of the organization.

Requirements:

• Two year Associates Degree in retail merchandising or related business degree.
• Five years of retail experience within a manegerial position in a department store, discount store or big box retailer.
• Hardline and softline experience.
• Track record of achieving results.
