Group Overview:
The Sales and Service Strategy team is responsible for providing the tools, resources, and process that Associates need to be successful every day. This includes understanding how all the functional teams operate successfully together, and continuing to find ways to create synergies between all distribution channels.

Role:
The Associate Desktop will play a strategic role in defining and clearly articulating a vision for our customer relationship management (CRM) solution, and in gaining alignment with key stakeholders across all functional areas to execute on that strategy. This will include gathering requirements, helping design solutions and ensuring successful implementation. This individual will lead, coordinate and facilitate the efforts of teams including existing Associate Desktop team members, Technology, Sales, Investor Services, Investor Solutions, Education, Legal/Compliance, and Marketing

This position reports to the Director of Sales & Service Strategy and requires a strong understanding of the drivers of business success, combined with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs and goals into concrete results. Strong direct people management and influence skills are required. This individual will also be responsible and accountable for the management and delivery of existing projects related to the salesforce.com- and SAP-based CRM systems used by our branch, Investor Services and Education organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Define a strategic vision for the role of the Associate Desktop in driving our business success and the associated development roadmap based on deep understanding of business needs.
  • Prioritize deliverables based on balancing the value delivered with resource availability and degree of effort required.
  • Develop a best-in-class, intuitive user interface to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of our associates, allowing them to deliver an outstanding client experience and providing opportunities to help them deepen our clients' relationships with TD AMERITRADE.
  • Optimize the system for effective delivery of marketing campaigns and leads to the Sales team to drive maximum return on our growth initiatives.
  • Ensure integration with other in-house systems to allow for effective reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and execute on training needs, communication/implementation plans and ongoing support elements in order to successfully integrate changes into the Sales and Service organizations and processes to ensure realization of business goals.
  • Develop and oversee ongoing support plans for the Associate Desktop systems.
  • Provide effective leadership, guidance and coaching to existing staff to ensure achievement of business objectives and support their professional development.
  • Develop and maintain superior working relationships with key partners both within Retail Distribution and across the organization.

    Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience working within the financial services industry; front line experience a plus.
  • Clear understanding of CRM best practices, strategy, and operational process.
  • Direct experience working with salesforce.com-based systems a requirement, experience with SAP-based systems a plus.
  • Clear understanding of Sales and Service processes in the financial services industry.
  • Past experience in Business Process Optimization.
  • Expertise in developing Superior oral and written communication skills, including ability to craft clear, concise presentations at both the project team and executive levels.
  • Highly developed problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision and be a self starter, able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Experience with branch and call center operations.
  • Familiarity with multi-channel distribution models in the sales and service/financial services industry.
  • Excellent relationship management and mediation skills ' must have the ability to weigh multiple stakeholder perspectives and drive timely and effective decision making.
  • Proven track record in demonstrating the leadership and influence skills required to engage and motivate teams (both direct reports and key resources).
