**Time Warner Cable's Carolina Region currently seeks Managers for Sales positions in various locations. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in these Sales Manager positions.

PURPOSE:

Manager of Sales position is responsible for planning, directing and day to day managing a sales team, including supervision of all sales supervisors, implementation of sales related tactics, policies and procedures and adherence of all sales goals. Will be responsible for the up sell of Time Warner Cable products, as well as renewal, retention and win back of customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Day to day management of Sales Supervisors and Sales Representatives.
  • Constantly evaluate sales performance results and provide immediate and constructive feedback to supervisors and representatives
  • Development of daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales plans, goals and minimum requirements including budgets and headcount projections.
  • Ensure adequate reporting and analysis tools are developed to successfully manage the sales team.
  • Oversee new and ongoing sales programs including scripting, reporting and call planning.
  • Implement and manage quantifiable training and coaching processes to ensure success.
  • Develop, oversee and report on all sales incentive programs.
  • Ensure all escalated customer complaints are resolved..
  • Responsible for ensuring sales lead volumes funneling in the market process
  • Responsible for coaching and development of supervisors and sales teams.
  • Responsible for achieving a monthly team revenue quota
  • Responsible for making sure monthly billing quota is achieved
  • Prepares regular sales activities reporting for presentation to senior management
  • Insures consistency and accuracy by all team members of sales databases that are necessary to report sales activity and customer information
  • Enforces all department and company policies and practices to insure sales process integrity
  • Coordinates work flows between supporting teams and departments
  • Conducts ongoing meetings to review sales team performance to defined goals
  • Oversees teams personnel activities concerning hiring, training/development and sales
    performance evaluation

    QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred; or equivalent training, education and experience required.
  • Seven to ten years experience in a fast paced sales environment required.
  • Requires three or more years as sales professional experience, preferably managing call center teams selling telecommunications and/or cable products required.
  • Previous selling experience in the cable/telecommunications industry required.
  • Position requires a proven track record of success in managing a quota based sales team.
  • Supervisory/Managerial experience of sales teams required.
  • Must be an effective communicator that can direct and motivate a sales organization to successful goal attainment
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills required
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Delegates' authority to carry out work of a unit to subordinate supervisors or managers.
    Legal or Financial Responsibilities:
    Requires adherence to Time Warner Standards of Business Conduct. Position must assist in maintaining the confidentiality of customer and business data at all times.

    Communication Skill Level:
    Level 3: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    Level 4 _ High Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Supervisory / Managerial Responsibilities:

    Manager: Ability to perform functions of Supervisors, as well as, delegating authority to carry out work of the unit to subordinate Supervisors.
