Manager, Sales and Marketing
Location: Tulsa, OK

Education Required: Bachelors Degree
Experience Required: More than 10 years Position Description: Position Summary: Represents and Markets CSS Special Waste Services to assigned: geography, customers and facilities. Develop new business with targeted direct generators and assigned 3rd Party Service companies. Work with Sales and Marketing team to leverage resources and maximize efficiency. Coordinate with the AE/CSR/EHS groups to ensure all aspects of existing accounts are efficiently and effectively managed.
Position Requirements: Position Requirements: 1.Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or equivalent experience 2.Extensive experience marketing non-hazardous or hazardous waste disposal services, landfill reduction and Green inititives: 3.Ability to develop a keen understanding of the Covanta requirements and Facility operations. 4.Experience with customer service and account management. 5.Experience in the waste market including: a. Contract development and negotiation b. Building and maintaining service partner relationships c. Understanding competitive market pressures 6.Strong written and verbal communication skills 7.Knowledge of Microsoft: Excel, Word, CRM and Access. 8.Approximately 50% to 75% travel is required.
Position Attributes: Key Areas of Responsibility: 1.New Growth Markets – Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow Special Waste revenues in assigned geography 2.CSS Sales and Marketing Processes – Follow established processes regarding: Contracts, Credit and Pricing. 3.Leverage Relationships – Utilize marketplace contacts to identify and secure new business opportunities. 4.3rd Party Service Companies – Develop, implement and monitor plans for assigned 3rd Parties. Utilize extended team to manage local opportunities. 5.Forecast and Budget – Responsible for communication and oversight of Forecast and budget process for assigned facilities and accounts. 6.Performs other duties as required.
