Manager/Sr Manager, Economic and Valuation Services

We are currently seeking a Transfer Pricing Tax Manager/Senior Manager to join us in our Dallas office. KPMG’s Economic and Valuations Services (EVS) practice offers a wide range of economic and business services to help clients succeed in a complex marketplace. Valuation experience is a critical issue facing companies as they engage in activities related to financial reporting, tax minimization strategies, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate reorganizations, and other areas dependent on return on investment analysis. Our professionals serve companies across a broad spectrum of industries by providing independent appraisals of assets such as capital stock, intellectual property, machinery and equipment, and real estate. Responsibilities for both positions: • Develop and maintain client relationships • Supervise and mentor staff members • Assist in managing and delivering transfer pricing project for closely held and publicly traded companies, including client interviews, information gathering, financial and/or economic analysis, and report writing • Prepare and analyze financial and economic data through the use of MS Word, Excel, Access, and various statistical sampling packages • Review and analyze financial statements • Perform risk management and adminstrative duties as necessary Additional responsibility for Senior Manager: • Generate business development leads and projects Qualifications for both positions: • Four years of experience with advisory related projects, with experience in one or more of the following areas: transfer pricing, financial statement analysis, valuation, quantitative and competitive analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, plan evaluation and/or operational performance analysis • Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting • Strong market and client focus • Solid analytical and quantitative background • Thorough understanding of the U.S. transfer pricing regulations and international transfer pricing environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research skills, and the ability to work well in a team and/or independently • Graduate degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics from an accredited college/university Additional qualification for Senior Manager: • An additional two years of experience with a national firm KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
