1. Leads tax professionals in accounting for income taxes in accordance with FAS 109 for consolidated audited financial statements covering U.S. and foreign operations, and 2. Directs and assists tax professionals in the preparation of U.S. federal, state and local income and franchise tax return filings. * Direct accounting for income taxes functions, including monthly tax provisions, tax disclosures for quarterly and annual SEC filings, annual return-to-provision reconciliations, and monthly cash flow forecasts for tax payments. * Maintain and update tax basis balance sheet. * Direct quarterly FIN 48 unrecognized tax benefits analysis and documentation. * Coordinate tax accounting related to acquisitions, including tax due diligence, and integration of tax return filings and tax calendars for acquired entities. * Participate in review of annual U.S. federal, state and local income tax returns, unclaimed property returns, and state annual reports for business qualification. * Provide informational support for federal and state tax audits. * Lead enhancements of tax return and tax accounting data systems; coordinate
tax systems with enhancements of company-wide accounting systems. * Bachelors degree in accounting or related field, with CPA certificate preferred. * Minimum of 7 to 11 years of progressive corporate income tax experience, including significant experience in accounting for corporate income taxes. Experience in accounting income tax for multi-national corporations is preferred. * Strong computer skills and ability to work with corporate tax return preparation software, tax provision software, and accounting systems.
