Facilities Manager

Letica Corporation, a leading manufacturer of plastic and paper packaging products, is seeking a Facilities Manager to join our corporate headquarters in Rochester, MI.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·        Plan and oversee the maintenance of the physical structure, physical services, machinery, equipment and grounds of all plants, while ensuring compliance with all federal and State regulations governing safety and environmental issues. 

·        Oversee Plant Maintenance Managers and Plant Maintenance Systems to ensure they are in compliance with Standard Operation Procedures and Policies. Responsible to report violations and corrective actions of the above to the Vice President of Operations.

·        Guide and oversee those capital projects related to the facility and equipment also responsible for all maintenance CMMS system logistics

·        Establish, oversee and audit an effective preventative and safety maintenance program for assigned special projects.

• Develop, implement and audit systems, which assure adequate inventory of maintenance and supply items for assigned special projects

• Oversee major repairs/upgrades to ensure completion in a timely and cost effective manner for assigned special projects

• Responsible for coordinating equipment repair/installation for assigned special projects.

• Establish and audit security systems and procedures for assigned special projects.

Requirements:

Associate Degree, Bachelor’s preferred, and at least 5 years supervisory experience

Must have experience with injection molding and facility management

Packaging industry experience is a plus

Must have extensive knowledge with electrical, hydraulic and injection molding machines

Facility Auditing experience

Project Management experience

Asset Capacity Planning experience

Environmental Continuous Improvement experience

Ability train and manage others to achieve successful, consistent results

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Prefer candidates with training in 5s, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Black Belt, Process improvement, materials management, production scheduling
