DescriptionThe Manager, Treasury Accounting is responsible for accounting for debt, deferred financing costs, our captive insurance company and other miscellaneous treasury accounts. This position also prepares disclosures for our quarterly SEC filings, prepares monthly forecasts, and oversees the treasury SOX process. This position reports to the Assistant Treasurer, Operations and is part of the Corporate Treasury department.

Tasks
  • Ensure proper accounting for all parent company debt and related accounts. Review accounting for captive insurance company to assure all US GAAP adjusting entries are appropriately made.
  • Review and analyze global debt facilities including balances, rates, due dates, etc. on a quarterly basis for significant fluctuations. Prepare required SEC disclosures with information obtained from this analysis.
  • Prepare accounting position papers on treasury topics on an as needed basis.
  • Oversee SOX process for treasury department to ensure all controls are operating and working effectively. Allocate testing responsibilities of other departments to treasury staff and monitor that all testing is completed by required deadlines. Coordinate biweekly treasury controls meetings with other members of the treasury management team.
  • Provide technical and financial guidance through the coordination and preparation of monthly financial analysis, forecasts, and reporting.
  • Cultivate knowledge, experiences, and professional development of key staff as well as promote objectives to support talent within the finance organization. This includes cross functional involvement and exposure, and succession planning for key roles. Support a strong performance management process that aligns individual objectives with business metrics and connects performance against objectives to compensation and career progression.
