Pick-N-Pull, a $200+ million, fast-growing division of Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc., is seeking a MIT in the Portland, OR area. Schnitzer is a 100 year old publicly traded company with revenues in excess of $1.5 billion. Pick-N-Pull is a fast growing division within Schnitzer that is focused on consolidating the highly fragmented recycled auto parts market.
The Manager in Training (MIT) helps to lead the store to success through goal achievement in all phases of store operation, including personnel matters, sales, core program, and customer care. The MIT ensures that their assigned store operates in an effective and efficient manner and that operational support is provided within the guidelines of the administrative policies and procedures. Responsible for monitoring all store functions from sales through production to conform to all company policies.
This position reports to the Area Manager and supervises staff.
