 The Online Advertising Operations Manager improves digital advertising and creative performance through detailed analysis and display advertising traffic strategy and optimization.  

  • Work closely with digital advertising team to determine campaign schedule to ensure prompt delivery of media buy and creative assets.
  • Deliver to media and creative groups the ad operations execution plan aligned to campaign schedule. Execute campaign traffic.
  • Design test plans, execute tests within ad serving interface and analyze results.
  • Partner with account teams to ensure product categories and the correct campaigns are pushed out to the consumer.
  • Make specific recommendations to enhance performance against goals based on ad performance data.
  • Create and manage a successful banner production grid for all media assets necessary to deliver the display advertising strategy; optimize list to ensure efficient use of creative resources; request creative, review concepts and final products for compliance with production grid specifications.
  • Review in-house created campaigns and determine which messages are most relevant to the objective of campaigns and specific media placement.
  • Ensure proper rotation of planned media mix.
  • Create and maintain a weekly dashboard to report trending of key metrics; document and archive activities tied to performance to inform future forecasting.
  • Further monitor campaign business rhythms, report out results and insights and provide recommendations based on learnings.
  • Track ad financials.' Review advances in industry ad serving technologies; advise in best-in-class implementations and industry best practices' Review ad technology companies; determine best-in-class advancements, negotiate competitive rates and advise industry best practices.
  • Research and maintain record of trends, inovations and changes that affect display advertising and creative executions.

' Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and 5+ years digital advertising experience and/or training

' Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should at least 5 years experience with a 3rd Party ad serving technology such as APT (preferred), Atlas or DFA DoubleClick, spreadsheet software, word processing software and presentation software.

' Other Skills and Abilities
Multi-tasking (multiple vendor relationships, internal partners, multiple clients and campaigns, etc.), time management (effectively manages resources & schedules to meet deadlines), self-motivated
