Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an experienced candidate to work in a Business and Market Development role. This person will be working independently while being a strong part of a team.

Position Overview/Summary:

The Business and Market Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities to expand market distribution of the LineSaver program, as well as to support the development of new products and services. This dynamic person will also develop strategies, make contact and establish relationships. S/he should have experience with complex RFPs as well as negotiating and closing business-to-business and business-to-consumer services opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Additional responsibilities include:


  • Providing market research; i.e. Research Forecasting and Competitive Analysis.
  • Developing business models.
  • Performing Results Analysis for new market and product offerings.
  • Following a strict timeline for budgets.

This is a Contract to Direct Hire position, through Volt Workforce Solutions - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Blue Bell, PA. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies on the East Coast.



Requirements:

Required Skills for this Manager of Business and Market Development position include the following:


  • Five (5) years of experience with:


    • Business-to-Business
    • RFP, RFQ and RFI
    • Selling complex services


  • Three (3) years experience with Quoting
  • Must be solid enough to go "hit the ground running"
  • 4-year Degree minimum
