Evercare has been awarded a contract for the State of Hawaii's Quest Expanded Access program for the aged, blind and disabled. Evercare is serving over 18,000 individuals on the islands of Kauai, Oahu, Maui and Hawaii.
Evercare brings years of experience, significant resources and a proven, clinically based model of care to serve this Medicaid population. Evercare is staffing locally and collaborating with providers and other organizations to deliver a successful program for the State of Hawaii.
As a Service Coordination Manager on our team, you would oversee a dynamic group of case managers while enjoying unique perks, including the opportunity to work from home and in the field. Primary responsibilities include:
- Overseeing clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs/LVNs and Social Workers
- Operational management, including performance management, conflict resolution, workflow, etc
- Building relationships with internal and external customers
- Developing program initiatives; creating policies and procedures
- Ensuring state and federal compliance
- Facilitating weekly phone-based team meetings
- Shadowing staff in the field
- Working closely with upper management
- Educating providers about our program
- Sets team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to members of own team.
- May oversee work activities of other supervisors.
- Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges.
- Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning activities.
- Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple groups of employees and/or customers (internal or external).
The chosen candidate must possess:
- Strong managerial experience in a healthcare setting
- Undergraduate degree
- Experience managing other clinicians
- Electronic documentation experience
We also prefer:
- Clinical licensure (RNs are especially encouraged to apply, but LVNs and LPNs are welcome)
- Case management experience
- A background managing remote employees
- Managed care experience
- Experience in a corporate environment
- Medicaid knowledge
- Experience working in a start-up company
- Utilization management experience
- Bilingual Asian language skills such as Filipino, Chinese, Samoan, Korean, Vietnamese or Japanese
