This position will be will be responsible for planning and implementing modifications to the supporting infrastructure company-wide. Also responsible for overseeing the implementation of network security at the corporate level and anticipating future network needs. Responsible to oversee the planning and management of the company’s telephone systems, the management of corporate help desk activities, and resolves escalated issues if necessary. 

Networking:

· Plans and implements additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting networking, server, storage, and desktop infrastructure company-wide in coordination with corporate leadership

· Create/maintain action plan to meet uptime/redundancy requirements for core systems/offices

· Ensure network monitoring is in place and risks/threats are continually evaluated
· Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and planned outages with operations personnel

· Oversees the implementation of network security at the corporate level

· Anticipates future network needs, identifies proactive solutions to satisfy needs

Security and Audit:

· Administer and manage security framework and audits

· Advice Senior Management on IT Security Strategy, exposure to IT risks, including compliance risks, and develop a plan for containment of risks

Telephony:

· Oversees the planning and management of the company's telephone system
· Manage telecom vendors, monitor service agreements, and make recommendations for optimal telecom solutions while maintaining a cost structure that leverages revenue.

Help Desk Administration:

· Oversees the management of corporate help desk resources
· Establish and enforce escalation procedures with documented response to any network incidents

Asset Management:

· Establish and manage corporate network assets including

· Establish and manage user/ desktop assets including desktops, laptops, thin clients, monitors, etc. necessary for end user provisioning.

· Establish and manage current inventory of software licenses at the enterprise and at the user level.

· Helps establish and build relationships with vendors in conjunction with corporate leadership

· Oversees IT-related purchasing and budget usage, works with Accounting to develop budgets

· Holds responsibility for IT capacity planning and scheduling vendor negotiations related to IT

· Manages and maintains the processes to adhere to corporate standards in data retention, data destruction and backup policies

Requirements:

· Management or Supervisor experience required
· Bachelor/College Degree in Computer Science or similar
· Project Management experience
· Experience working with Microsoft Office and SQL Server applications
· Windows Professional and Server 2000 Operating System experience
· Prefer experience with Active Directory and Symantex Corporate Edition Ghost
· Familiarity with Pro Curve Switches and HP Proliant Server knowledge
