Director of Operations – Imaging Center in South Florida

The selected candidate will contribute to the overall success of operations by overseeing all departments with accountability and responsibility for managing staff, daily operations and relationships with referring providers.  The Director of Operations will define goals and manage budget and performance standards.  Additionally, the selected candidate must work effectively with physicians, patients, staff and public and external agencies, setting a standard of outstanding customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage diagnostic center including, operations, staff, patients, budgets, payroll, payers and revenue cycle.
  
• Manage and order all supplies.
  
• Manage all radiologic equipment, service and preventative maintenance.
  
• Oversee compliance and all other regulatory requirements.
  
• Manage employees’ work performance and take appropriate steps whenever necessary.
  
• Monitor staffing levels and ensure appropriate coverage relative to budgetary guidelines.
  
• Manage revenue cycle and budget.
  
• Travel is required for this position.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in health care degree helpful.
  
• Three - five years experience in managing imaging center operations.
  
• Extensive experience managing MRI, PET, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography and other procedures and equipment.
  
• Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program with ARRT.
  
• The ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast paced environment.
  
• Demonstrated high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  
• Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills both internal and external.
  
• Working experience with PACs, Radiology Information System and Revenue Cycle.
  
• Knowledge of payer, managed care market, in-network and out-of-network.
