About the Job
The QUIKRETE COMPANIES, the leading producer of packaged concrete and related products, is seeking a Production Manager for the WAUREGAN, CT facility.
This position has the responsibility for the overall management, direction and coordination of manufacturing activities. This includes carrying out production objectives at the lowest cost while meeting quality control standards all in a safe working environment. This position is also responsible for planning, inventory control, shipping and trucking.
The Production Manager reports to the Plant Manager. This person must work closely with sales personnel in order to meet sales objectives and customer requirements. Teamwork with company supervisors, peers, and subordinates is a must.
We are looking for an individual with a college degree and 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience in a supervisory role.
