Job Summary:


Provide a variety of support to the Business Offices in maintaining efficient and highly functioning business offices and manage a teammate or group of teammates in providing the same.


 


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead BSC(s) in assisting business offices in improving their performance as measured by various industry standard Revenue Cycle metrics

  • Thorough on site evaluation of business office processes in order to identify breakdowns and partner with Field Operations to implement corrective actions plans

  • Installation of and training on the case profitability process

  • Engage in effective and frequent communication with Field Operations

  • Variety of ad hoc business office projects including training, system set up,  and acquisition integration

 


Requirements:


  • High School Diploma and 7 to 10 years of experience in an Ambulatory Surgery business office setting

  • College Degree Preferred

  • Ability to travel to assigned facilities which could include 3-4 nights during any given week; 2-3 weeks a month. 

  • Comprehensive communication/customer/patient relations skills with problem solving resolution

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Healthcare accounts receivable which includes all phases of claims processing and collections 

  • Working knowledge and thorough understanding of patient accounting cycle from scheduling through to collections

  • Ability to effectively lead/mentor teammates
