Manager of Talent Development

RESPONSIBILITIES

·          Partner with business lines to identify learning and development opportunities and implement targeted training solutions

·          Conduct training needs analysis to determine training objectives, instructional and communication strategies, project scope and resource requirements

·          Develop content and deliver training programs

·          Facilitate group interactions such as meetings, seminars, workshops and lead classroom learning sessions

·          Schedule and coordinate all aspects of training activities

·          Establish measurements for training effectiveness; track, report and analyze data and participation

 

REQUIREMENTS

·          BA or BS degree

·          5 – 7 years of training design and delivery experience

(experience in supporting a retail environment a plus)

·          Prior leadership development experience is desirable

·          Proficiency with software including MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel

·          Strong written and oral communication skills; writes structured and compelling messages, tailors presentation style to have credible influence and impact at various levels

·          Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills

·          Ability to identify learning & performance improvement needs, develop objectives, design plans, create metrics, and demonstrate return on investment

·          Strength in leading cross-functional projects to drive learning needs analysis, training program design, development, implementation and evaluation

·          Proven ability to effectively collaborate and consult with leadership, business partners, and colleagues to drive training and development initiatives

·          Ability to work effectively with diverse groups at all levels as well as the ability to successfully align with management in a corporate, as well as a field/distribution center environment

·          Understanding of adult learning principles desired
