Managing Director
The Managing Director is responsible for business development, managing the office, and establishing and achieving sales and profit goals for our existing Charlotte, NC practice. This dynamic and entrepreneurial individual will support the company's Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Information Management, Legal Services, and Supply Chain Management disciplines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead office by managing daily operations and developing and executing growth strategy.
• Continually develop new client business by pursuing business opportunities with strategic targets and cultivating relationships with existing clients.
• Mentor management team by directing their work efforts, monitoring recruitment efforts, resolving client and/or Associate issues, and addressing internal office issues.
• Facilitate the continued growth of practice through timely hiring and managing of employees involved in client service, recruiting, business development and administration.
• Create revenue by generating, closing, and managing engagements and growing the office.
• Represent Resources in appropriate professional and community organizations.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• We recruit for talent, integrity, enthusiasm and loyalty. The position requires business maturity, excellent judgment and a hands-on entrepreneurial spirit. Successful candidates generally have10-15 years of professional services and industry experience.
• CPA is a plus.
• Experience selling professional services, networking and generating leads.
• Demonstrated track record of positive change in all positions held.

• A high level of enthusiasm for building a business and a personal sense of urgency and capacity to overcome obstacles.
• An entrepreneurial individual who thrives on building and growing a successful and dynamic practice.
• Ability to respond effectively and quickly to clients' needs and issues.
• Ability to negotiate and communicate complex concepts/business issues verbally and in writing to clients, Associates and management.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities/projects and proven ability to develop business relationships.
The Managing Director reports to the Regional Managing Director.
