With our success we are experiencing continued growth and able to offer exciting career opportunities; currently we are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to join our award winning team.


 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


·         Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.


·         Perform analysis and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.


·         Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.


·         Interfaces and coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.


·         Designs, develops and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.


·         Interfaces and coordinates with vendors/customers to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.


·         Interfaces and coordinates with sales, planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods and quality results.


·         Develop (BOO) bill of operations, (BOM) bill of materials, and parts cost.


·         Confer with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.


·         Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.


·         Performs necessary tool design (fixtures) with use of computer assisted design applications and programs.


·         Re-engineer existing parts (machine tooling design & molding).


·         Identify, prioritize and troubleshoot tools in assembly.


·         Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.


·         Investigates manufacturing problems and recommends solutions.  


·         Required to travels to customer facilities and other affiliates as required. 


·         Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.


·         Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.


·         Works under limited supervision with a wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.  


·         Performs a variety of complicated tasks and duties.


 


 


 


Desired Competencies and Requirements:


 


B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering,


 


Minimum 5+ years related experience required and/or training.          


 


Experience in fastener manufacturing desired.
