RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, establishes, and guides requirements for assembly, tooling simulations, systems integration and manufacturing configurations on composite structures. Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. Plans for the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques. Provides guidance to Engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Confers with management and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, etc. to facilitate production processes. Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must meet the criteria below to be considered:
- 7 Series Commercial Aircraft experience
- Shipside experience, requires up and down all day, physically able to investigate build issues on the airplane
- Production support
- Catia v5
- Enovia
Qualified candidates will have a BSME, or BSSE as well as related aircraft/aerospace experience and experience working with system integration. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications. Prefer someone with familiarity with SAP 5.0; Wonderware, CATIA V4 or V5 and Enovia. Provides production support in assembly and systems install. Investigate Engineering definition in Catia V5 (Enovia), interpret engineering requirements and process specifications to define build plan to produce product to engineering requirements.
EDUCATION:
The successful candidate will typically have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and six years of related experience

LOCATION: North Charleston, SC
PAY RATE: $DOE
DURATION: 6 months+
