SIX-MONTH CONTRACT - SECOND SHIFT
START ASAP!

Our Client, a Global Aerospace manufacturer, has the immediate need for a Manufacturing Technician, due to an increased workload. Candidate will be part of the Manufacturing/Operations team. This is a Second Shift, six-month contract assignment.

Position Overview/Summary:

The Manufacturing Technician will:


  • Be part of the FAA Drug and Alcohol pool.
  • Need to be familiar with Repair Station Work Instructions/Procedures/Repair Station Manual and Processes.
  • Will be the Quality Control designee for Test, for the Repair Station (Previously QCD in the testing of electronic assemblies preferred).


Duties and Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Technician:


  • Will display a working knowledge of Electronic Test and Measurement equipment.
  • Must be capable of learning to operate automated Test equipment.
  • Will need to comprehend and follow technical document(s) in order to follow instructions.
  • Must be capable of connecting unit to Test Stand without bending pins or damaging connectors.

    A Fortune 500 company, our client is a global supplier of systems and services to the Aerospace, Defense and Homeland Security markets. They offer a considerable range of products, systems and services for aircraft and engine manufacturers, airlines, and defense forces around the world.


This is an estimated 6-month contract position, through Volt Workforce Solutions - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Woburn, MA. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies on the East Coast.



Requirements:

Required Skills for this Manufacturing Technician position include the following:


  • 2-year Associates degree in Technical field required
  • 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting complex processor-based systems
  • Experience in the Aerospace industry (a BONUS)
