Market Human Resource Manager - (Bangor, Maine)

The MHRM's are responsible for execution of HR initiatives in employment practices, HR communications, performance management, staffing, development and associate relations. MHRMs provide HR support and guidance to the Market Managers and report to Regional HR Directors.

This position is located in Bangor, Maine.

The hiring process for this position consists of the following:

Meet the following minimum qualifications:

4 years of combined managerial experience supervising salaried associates. At least 2 years of this experience must include HR mgmt responsibilities (e.g.,staffing, performance management, coaching and mentoring, training, compensation, promotion, investigations)
OR
2 years of combined managerial experience supervising salaried associates plus a BA/BS degree in an HR related field (eg., Industrial Relations)
OR
2 years of salaried Wal-Mart People Division experience

Additional Preferred Requirements:

2 years of retail-related experience

HR Professional Certification (eg.,PHR/SPHR)

Master's degree or higher in an HR-related field (eg.,Industrial Relations)

2 years HR mgmt experience
