GENERAL NATURE OF JOB:
Responsible for sales and marketing activities within a given market segment. Also is responsible for sales activities within a specific geography.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Manage all sales activity within market segment for all products and customers on global basis. Should spend majority of time visiting or in contact with customers and cultivating relationships with new and/or current customers.
· Responsible for new application identification and being liaison between customer and applications engineer
· Responsible for attaining revenue and margin goals within market segment.
· Identify new product development ideas and/or new opportunities within market segment.
· Perform market research, target corollary markets for revenue growth.
· Have a strong understanding of financial information including pricing and margins.
· Assist other market managers with area sales calls as needed.
· Be involved in problem solving, TCV events related to customer or market activity.
· Identify and manage appropriate trade shows and marketing, advertising activity within market segment.
