Market Manager

About the Job

Privately owned life sciences company, based in Israel, seeks Market Manager – U.S. to be responsible for all aspects of this developer of products for research labs and clinical diagnostic centers.  This individual will facilitate the establishment and strong growth and reputation of the Company as a market leader in the United States.  His/her primary role will be to lead the efforts to drive excellent marketing, sales, brand management and distribution activities geared at strong relationships within the medical, laboratory, hospital and physician practice business in the U.S.  Specific responsibilities will include:


 


·    Leadership and management of the marketing, sales, branding, customer service, distribution and supply chain, finance, human resources and information technology functions.


·     Development and building of key accounts and influencing relationships.


·     Drive the development and execution of strategic and operating plans.


·     Provide leadership in the development of technology to leverage the Company’s leading technology position.


·     Facilitate the distribution through national laboratory suppliers.


·     Build an excellent team and a national sales capability and organization.


·     Identify and execute growth opportunities. 


 


Requirements include a minimum of 15 years experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical or Life Science and an M.B.A. preferred.  The successful candidate will have the marketing and sales management experience in medical and laboratory products utilized in microbiology and infection testing.  This individual will have led efforts to improve inventory, cost, distribution, day-to-day operations and logistics and margin management of such a business.  Industry experience is a strong plus but not as critical as broad business acumen, leadership, customer orientation, an open communicative style, and knowledge of a broad range of medical and laboratory product distribution channels.
