About the Job


Industry-leading provider of business information solutions is seeking an energetic and passionate individual who has taken B2B data products to market.  The primary focus of this position is to evaluate the market opportunities, tailor products to capitalize on the opportunities and design and execute go-to-market strategies that will culminate in significant revenue for the company.  Responsibilities include identifying target markets, analyzing revenue opportunities, assessing competition, creating product differentiation and working closely with sales and product development to attain revenue targets. 


 


Specific Job Functions:


·         Overall responsibility for the design and execution for the go-to-market strategy for Cortera’s data product offerings.


·         Continually evaluating the market to design products that solve market-wide business needs and generate significant revenue.


·         Gathering feedback directly from the market (customers and prospects) to better understand the market’s business needs.


·         Monitoring the competitive landscape.


·         Factoring market feedback and competitive landscape into product development cycle.


·         Influencing long-term product development and differentiation.


·         Working closely with sales leadership to understand the customer point-of-view and ultimately sharing accountability for revenue attainment.


 


Qualifications:


·         10+ years of experience in the B2B information industry with emphasis on market strategy, competitive analysis, product management and go-to-market activities.


·         Prior revenue responsibility for a successful business unit of a leading B2B information provider.  


·         Proven track record of executing strategies that produce significant revenue.


·         Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams to achieve results.


·          Prior management consulting experience with major firm is a plus.


·         Bachelor's degree required.  MBA preferred.


·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


 


Candidates  must be local or willing to relocate.
