Marketing Analyst

Job Summary: 

The Marketing Analyst will perform market, vertical(s) and customer/prospect analysis, manage lead generation process in CRM system and provide marketing and sales training and support for the Commercial Print Group.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

MARKET, VERTICAL(S) AND CUSTOMER/ PROSPECT ANALYSIS

  • Analyze current verticals and prospect needs vs. Commercial Print Group capabilities
  • Identify compatible market niches to utilize plant capacity and capabilities
  • Identify and define new vertical market niches or existing vertical market opportunities
  • Communicate new market, client and prospect information to sales team
  • Monitor global perspective on our verticals, plan and communicate vertical challenges and opportunities.
  • Assist in determining market segment strategies
  • Visit major accounts periodically (market trends analysis)

CRM AND LEAD GENERATION

  • Drive implementation of CRM system
  • Maintain CRM system, updates and enhancements
  • Train sales staff on CRM and market specific value propositions
  • Guide efforts of the Commercial Print Group's Lead Generation team
  • Assist in target account selection and qualification of targets with companies

MARKETING AND SALES TRAINING & SUPPORT

  • Develop requirements necessary to drive a marketing visibility strategy through CRM utilizing direct mail, email marketing efforts, etc.
  • Assist Marketing Manager in creating a marketing plan for Commercial Print Group companies and vertical(s)
  • Work with Marketing Manager to coordinate and develop promotional programs
  • Develop training tools for sales team on market segment value and value base selling
  • Aid coordination of customer visits and client presentations with Commercial Print Group companies
  • Work with VP Sales to identify market needs, specific capabilities and future objectives
  • Represent Commercial Print Group at conferences, trade shows and customer events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

 

Four year degree in related field required

  • Minimum 5+ years experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong multi-tasking capabilities, attention to detail, team and analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills required, with experience in Microsoft applications
  • Ability to travel as needed
