Marketing Analytics Manager

Dow Jones & Co. is currently seeking a Marketing Analytics Manager to join the Strategic Planning and Analytics Group located in South Brunswick, NJ. Supporting the marketing organization, the Strategic Planning and Analytics group provides forecasting capabilities, analytical insights and develops key performance indicators to ensure overall operational performance is translated into successful financial results.
 
The Marketing Analytics Manager will work closely with all groups within the marketing organization, with particular focus on key strategic initiatives of the Product Management team. The Marketing Analytics Manager will project manage the company through an analytical roadmap. We are seeking a hands-on, skilled manager with a blend of proven quantitative expertise and ability to develop critical business insights to increase ROI of marketing initiatives for Dow Jones.
 
Responsibilities include developing a standard approach to the overall process for building analytical framework and solving specific business objectives and challenges.
Will organize data to meet analytical needs, perform statistical analysis, forecasting, predictive modeling and optimization. Identify opportunities to enhance targeting/segmentation capabilities. Identify market trends and opportunities and provide actionable insights to support marketing and profitability strategies.
 
Qualifications:
·         Bachelor's degree required.
·         Minimum 7 years' of relevant experience.
·         Expert Excel and advanced SAS user required; Cognos queries preferred.
·         Must possess analytical mindset with detail and quality assurance orientation.
·         Excellent communication skills are essential. 
·         Reporting automation experience strongly desired.
