Marketing Assistant:

We are looking for a Junior Marketing person. This is an entry level position, great for someone who likes interacting with people. This is a chance to get involved in learning a variety of marketing tactics and building awareness with different customers. Qualified candidates must enjoy talking with people, discussing product benefits on the phone and coordinating different marketing materials. This is a non-stop cycle and this person should possess a very pleasantly aggressive personality and an outgoing, energetic personality.

Candidate duties/required experience:

·         The Marketing Assistant (MA) is completely involved in the coordination of sales and interacts with the production person to achieve daily production goals.

·         The MA becomes an expert with regards to the operation of the Fastrack System and is highly aware of the flexibility within the pricing and the program.

·         Consistent estimating will occur because this individual is essentially the main point of contact with an order, once the estimate has been converted to a sale.

·         This individual must be able to coordinate and organize and will be responsible as the assistant the manager, when the Owner is out on calls.

·         The MA may also be involved in some production, according to workload, however, the main focus is for the MA to deal effectively with all incoming phone activity and counter sales. This will allow the Production person to focus on the production without interruption. The MA will be highly trained to use assumption sales close techniques and to be creative when closing business.

·         In many cases the MA will complete the prep work for the Owner to meet with the client and close the sale. In essence, the MA is an assistant to the Owner, helping to facilitate the sales. Another major duty of the MA is to assist with the marketing side of the business. The MA will use many facets of the Marketing Plan very effectively including, direct mail programs and target marketing strategies, when not involved in estimating or dealing with clients.

·         As a marketing assistant, in essence, this individual is also heavily involved in telemarketing, to help open doors for the Owner. Various phone scripts will be used to introduce the company to the prospective client and meetings will be arranged with motivated buyers. The MA is actively involved in contacting associated businesses that assist (this company) in selling the advertising products. These techniques are reflected in the Marketing Manuals, Volume I and II.

• Experience with a database program like ACT!, Schedule Plus or Maximizer
