A “World Class” Manufacturer headquartered in West Michigan supplying “highly engineered” machined/fabricated/assembled components to global OEM office furniture, medical, industrial, transportation, and appliance markets is seeking several driven, experienced candidates for a Marketing & Business Development Manager in the above targeted OEM markets.

Working with the President & CEO, COO, Director of Business Development, Director of World-wide Sales/ Communications, & Technical Product Line Managers, the Marketing & Business Development Manager will drive the demand for our products and services, and identify potential customers worldwide. Other responsibilities include developing pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing profits or market share while ensuring customers are satisfied; and overseeing product development or monitor trends indicating the global need for new precision products and services.

Duties Include:

• 
  
  Assist in the quotation process; generate quote follow up activity reports.
  
  
• 
  
  Continuously update creative marketing materials such as Company brochure, website, press releases, technical product information, conferences, and presentations for management, engineering, marketing and sales support activities.
  
  
• 
  
  Confer with internal business units & sales representatives to provide information about the company, its products and services. Document Sales representative’s interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and other concerns, as well as actions taken.
  
  
• 
  
  Moderate travel required, dependent on business activity.

Desired qualifications: 

• 
  
  A Bachelor’s Degree in business and/or related technical field, Master’s Degree preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.  Over five years sales & marketing experience in Global Industrial/Manufacturing environment.  
  
  
• 
  
  The best candidates will possess significant knowledge of technical sales, marketing strategy and tactics, and business management principles.  You must also have experience in supporting   Marketing functions supplying OEM’s in Transportation, Appliance, Industrial, Aerospace, Medical, and Office Furniture Markets.
  
  
• 
  
  Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are desirable.
